I can’t remember anymore how many times the warmth of these hands gave me relief.

Kaya says so with a bitter smile on her face, sword in her hand’s embrace.

She should have lost a sword back when we fought the giant orc before so this must be a new one.

There follows the B rank adventurer Yuya. Seems like he is here in the capital just to support me in the duel.

I still can’t really understand where this old man is coming from and it’s kinda late but I think his name is Rassen.

Fighting against Vanitas Roar is full of danger and could be deadly. But with its attack powers reduced to a quarter, it should pose us no worries.

I lowkey used cheat code manipulation and activated <Rewriting of Target’s Attack Powers> (low) once again.

.

I can reduce a target’s attack power using this ability, however, that isn’t the only thing it can do.

I can raise a target’s attack power too.

.

Rei, Kaya, Yuya, and Rassen. I used my ability on all of them and have their attack powers be strengthen to quadruple.

.

[Ah- ah, ah…!?]

[What is this…?]

They all got different reactions but I can see that all of them are in confusion. As such, I choose to explain to them.

[Everyone’s attack powers should now be raised to quadruple. With this, I believe we can definitely win.]

[Quadruple, you say… Are you perhaps a high ranking mage, Arios-san?]

Kaya asks with fear lingering on her voice.

[Wonderful! As expected of my liege, Arios-sama!!]

Rassen and Yuya then shared their own sentiments as well.

…I kind of feel that they’re putting me off too high of a pedestal but this isn’t really the time for me to point this out.

What we should be doing now is to focus and give our all to defeat this monster.

As I raise my voice for my friends to heed my call, they all give their response with vigor.

The sword saint Leon Makuba’s hatred can’t anymore be hidden and looking at him makes one realize that he is full of resentment.

A giant creature of unknown origin has suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

It’s a monster that  he has never fought before but his experience of being a sword saint all this time told him all what he needs to know.

That monster is powerful.

In fact it’s too strong.

.

That’s why he can’t decisively put himself upfront — however, he is now witnessing a scene in front of him where Arios leads a handful of adventurers against that monstrosity and puts up a good fight to boot.

More surprisingly, it appears that each and everyone of them can provide significant damage to that gigantic monster.

Everytime any one of them seizes an opening, the monster wails with a painful scream.

.

It might be unexpected but perhaps the monster has some pitiful defense.

.

Then, won’t his attack then result in a much higher damage compared to all of them? -Leon started to think so.

.

‘Dudley’s defeat in this duel has already caused significant damage to the reputation of my Makuba family. I have to recover as much reputation as I can in this battle against this monstrosity.’

That’s why Leon decided to charge against the gigantic monster.

And without any trouble, Leon flies away straight to the rubbles.
