The jewel emitted waves of dark aura spreading and dimming the whole laboratory.

As I expected, numerous whitewolves just appeared around us out of thin air. Similar to what happened last time, there was not even a trace how these monsters got into this place.

At the same time Rei calls my name, my hand already has its grip toward my sword’s handle. I draw my sword and immediately cleans up the whitewolves that had suddenly appeared.

Even I won’t dare to live in a place where I don’t have the slightest bit of idea what’s going to happen, you know. I’m not a magic enchanter either.

Remia’s expression stiffens once again as we revert back to our main discussion.

[Now therefore I conclude. An analysis of this jewel is impossible at this present age. It’s structure deviates too far from the current standard that I cannot comprehend this thing as of the moment.]

Even a renowned magic enchanter can’t analyze this stone… Just what is going on with this jewel.

[It is quite certain but by injecting a certain amount of mana into the circuit of this jewel, the magic embedded to it will activate. That is how it is for all existing magic items – at least up to that point. It’s ability to summon monsters out of nowhere is just beyond of what we know as common sense.]

Even I haven’t heard of any magic item that can summon monsters.

There’s an item where monsters can be lured using a certain scent but there’s nothing else like this jewel which transfers monsters akin like they just teleported.
