I remain sitting on the table with Rei in front as we discuss how we should move forward considering the situation.

Maeri on the other hand washes the dishes back in the kitchen.

I let out a sigh seeing how frustrated Reimira is.

Taking care of Em just temporarily notwithstanding, completely hiding her and her identity as a slave despite being someone else’s property is of another kind of problem as it may result in a criminal offense.

To prevent that from happening, we have to get Rei moving hurriedly. No matter how much we try to hide Em and her identity, we can’t ever be more prudent and avoid as many risks as necessary.

I don’t really wanna even imagine it but it just shows of how much this girl had just been tormented.

[I don’t know. But it’s better to be careful. Don’t hesitate to head towards the guild if anything happens.]

Rei’s face then shows signs of fear as she holds my hand. I can’t help but smile at her just to reassure her in response.

I move my feet right then immediately and head outside the house to look for the presence that I felt.

Seems like that these guys have commendable detecting skills too.

I tried to move as fast yet subtle as I can but it seemed like that they noticed it regardless and immediately ran away.

–This detection prowess and immediate response… It shouldn’t be possible for just mere spies.

Seriously, it seems like I have to keep my guard firmer and stronger next time.

But, no matter how elusive these opponent may be, they will not be able to deceive the Sword of Origin.

I completely erased my presence as if I don’t exist as I start to chase behind the back of the people who’ve just recently been lurking.

I utilize the shadows and hide myself completely to keep them unaware of me lingering in their surroundings.

But then, a few seconds later, after seeing who are the people who uninvitedly look around at our place, I almost let out a scream.

-Gray robes that cover their bodies from head to toe. Clothing that I will never fail to remember.

Isn’t this a little bit too late already… Why choose now of all those times…

The figures continue to happily converse as they move.

I can completely hear what they’re saying but I have to let it go for now before I scare these goofs.

These guys, afterall, have somewhere to ‘head back’ to. 

If I just keep on chasing these guys this way until the end then perhaps I’ll find another hideout that they have hidden. Yep, yep. Let’s be patient and thoroughly pummel them at that moment.

Quite dozens of minutes have already passed since I’ve been tailing these guys.

I was torn whether to keep it up or just strike them down many times on their way back but the place where they stopped left me completely stunned.

Because, the very place these guys have arrived and entered, is the estate of that infamous Ald family.
