Only 3 days remain for the fated day to arrive.

I am steadily fulfilling quests from the guild as I continue to polish my sword and techniques. With the successor of the sword saint as my opponent, I can’t afford to let myself slack even for a minute.

During the time I am doing my quests, I find myself feeling some kind of strange warmth.

I don’t know why though.

There should be no one around my surroundings but I can’t help to get this feeling like there’s someone looking over me…

Well, not that I can really figure it out.

Still, in the middle of all of this, I manage to obtain one strange ability.

It’s name is not enough for me to discern what it does.

I tried using it while fighting monsters but nothing noteworthy happened. I might be able to learn of it in the future but it may need further trial and error.

And so, while clearing quests from the guild one after the other, I cherish my days of living slowly here in Rastal village.

Pushing myself to the edge will not be helpful after all. A good and blissful rest is also necessary.

That’s why right now, I am inside the house leisurely relaxing on top of my bed. I’ve already fulfilled the quest for the day and the sun has already set. Until Maeri finishes preparing our dinner, I don’t really have anything else to do but rest.

I kind of feel a rather disturbing presence behind the door though but let’s choose to ignore it for now.

It makes me wonder how long this person intends to hide in there.

However, I kinda feel her patience is already slowly starting to crumble.

So, the mad dash of the shouting princess has come to me which I flawlessly avoid.

And so, the dashing princess screams as she makes her way crashing splendidly to the rows of chests and closets.

This might sound kinda late but Rei right now is far from Reimira that had stood up against Dudley and the rest from the previous day.

Her majesty as a ‘Royal Princess’ has been emanating all over the place on that day.

Still, the girl’s true nature might really be this playful character.

I remember when she said ‘it’s really tiring to be of royalty’ from my memory.

In such a limited amount of space where letters can be written, different messages from different people can be read rooting for me.

–”You’ve always been wonderful! Please don’t lose to the likes of that Dudley!” -Eriza

–”You’re not allowed to lose until we get married, okay?!” -Myu

[Fufufu, I received these letters from the residents of the village. Everyone is rooting for you, you know.]

[I see… I am really grateful… Though I don’t really understand the part where it said I have a (male) servant.]

Now that I think of it, Rei’s been being covert about her activities from the past few days. Even though we’ve always been moving together before, she asked me to fulfill the guild quests on my own.

…These letters must be the result of those covert activities.

Rei whispers these words as she puts her lips on top of my cheeks.

[Fufu, I really can’t do much apart from this due to my social standing but… All of us here are behind you. Regardless if everyone else only sees a failskill in you.]

Her expression that is tinged with sorrow is something that I have never seen before.

[Thank you, Rei… This helped my fighting spirit to reignite again.]

[Fufu. I won’t forgive you if you lose, you know.]

[It will be alright. I don’t plan on going there just to get a beating.]

A lot of people are rooting for me. 

And to respond to all of these people’s feelings, I’ll make sure to take the win.

But then.

Perhaps noticing the change in atmosphere, the girl flashes me a playful grin.

As I skillfully maneuver to not allow Rei to touch even the hem of my clothes as she made her mad rush like earlier, her face crashes to the drawers once again.

Another peaceful day has come to pass as the day of the fated battle is now approaching.
