CCM 032 – A Failskill to Surpassing the Sword Saint

Maeri Robal is currently lamenting her own fate.

.

The new successor of the Sword Saint, Dudley Claise.

Her loathing towards him drove her to run away from the Makuba estate.

And she was not alone. There were a lot of other maids who had escaped as well.

.

That being said, Maeri, however, has no other place to go for her own sake.

She’s thinking that perhaps trying to go to Rastal Village wouldn’t be that bad.

.

She has heard after all that it is a place where <Failskills> tend to go.

That being the case, she might find Arios there.

.

–Here, I’ll let you have this so don’t cry anymore. It’s something I have made for you.–

.

She couldn’t forget that moment no matter what.

The face and expression of the boy who’s given her the handkerchief and was the previous successor of the sword saint.

.

–However, on her way, a group of unknown identity has taken her captive.

She wasn’t even able to scream nor resist.

Her limbs were tied all up as she was taken into a strange place.

.

But why her, just who are they? Maeri doesn’t know.

.

Still.

.

[Kukuku, what a fine lass. She looks useful in lots of differents ways, eh~]

[Ugh…]

.

Maeri knows her fate lies to these people’s will.

She is raised regardless of her will as her arms and feet are bound to the walls with chains.

To Maeri who bears no power at all, she has no means to do anything.

.

[This lass if I’m right is from the royal capital too. Keke, we got quite a good material in our hands.]

[Y-you…]

.

Maeri, regardless of how powerless she is, glares to the man in front of her.

He’s wearing a robe colored in gray with his face fully hidden. She has witnessed other people wearing the same appearance as well.

.

Just who are these people? Why would they abduct her? Maeri persists to ponder.

.

WIthout knowing anything.

Without even a clue as for why this is happening, Maeri is being held captive.

.

[Well, why don’t we entertain ourselves for the mean time with such a beautiful lass in front of our eyes. Kekeke…]

.

The man’s hand slowly makes its way towards Maeri.

.

[No. Please, yamete…!]

.

And at this moment, she really can’t help but to recall a certain boy’s face.

.

Arios Makuba.

If there is one thing she would wish to be granted for one last time, it would be seeing once again the boy’s smile—

.

.

.

[MAERI!!!]

.

.

.

But then, she suddenly heard a voice.

It is firm and gentle, similar to the one who showed so much care to a crybaby such as herself.

She almost laughed at herself.

She’s been thinking of him so hard that she’s already hallucinating for him to come in such a place.

.

.

.

[Aaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!]

.

.

.

But no.

Maeri is apparently mistaken.

Things aren’t just from her imagination.

.

And so she thought–

.

‘How reliable and nostalgic, don’t tell me, really…!?’

.

[Arios-sama!?]

.

A person who was once thought to be a candidate for the sword saint who ended up as a failskill.

Everyone in the capital has heard rumors of his downfall.

.

Still– the swordplay the boy has shown at the next moment may not just overwhelm Dudley, but even the sword saint Leon himself.

.

[Sword of Origin, God Speed Flash!!]

[Hm? Ugaaaaaaahhh!!!]

.

Then, the scream of the man in the gray robe resounded all over the place.

Translator’s Note:

  1. If the word ‘Yamete’ needs an explanation, well, it basically means ‘Stop’ (Imperative form), as to why I did not translate it to English, well, I got carried away by the context and recalled some certain vids. Hehehehehe NEVERMIND!

  1. The videos you remembered was hentai r*pe I am guessing? Hentai creators really seem to like putting that in their works for some weird reason.

      1. A good reply, but wouldn’t “i hate prodigies like you Commana. Too damn perceptive.” Have been better?

  2. Thanks for the uploads as always! It’s gratifying to see other translators that i comment on the post of pop up in the comments section of things i suggested.

  3. I’ve even seen “Yamete” show up in Chinese novels, with the TL notes that the original Chinese used the Japanese word. Men of culture live all over the world, it seems.
