It’s around an hour since I’ve parted with Rei, I guess.

The fight itself only took a short amount of that but the dismantling lasted for a while.

All this time, Rei is waiting inside the carriage as I ask her to do so.

After all, she is a young lady of the royal family so I can’t expose her to any kind of danger, much more around a class A monster.

Though it is inevitable, I still kind of feel sorry for her. So let’s grab some present or alike before I get back to cheer her up.

I just got in the carriage but I am already in Rei’s embrace.

Rei’s face starts to shade in pink just like the flower as she speak

By the time we arrive in Rastal village, the sun has already set.

Unlike the capital, the village doesn’t have that much source of light. Even the illumination from the lights coming from the establishments are just faint at best.

What’s more, this place is just so quiet.

However, these things in itself aren’t that bad.

For someone like me who’s an infamous failskill and always being gossiped about, a peaceful place like this is just perfect. I don’t really have anything to do in particular anyway.

I just left the carriage and Kaya-san’s already here to greet me. That’s some smile she got there.

I didn’t really had the chance to appreciate these things back in the battlefield but heck even her figure is ridiculous. She’s definitely the popular type.

She just looks a little bit older than me but she’s already within the A ranks of the adventurer’s guild. She must really be a talent.

Kaya can’t hide her agitation and Rei, seeing it, laughs while sticking out her tongue.

Kaya seems to have a lot more things to say but considering that the coachman is still around, it appears she decided to hold it off for now.

Instead, when Rei approaches and closes their distance, she immediately grabs her and whispers in a hushed voice.

(Yo-you, just what are you doing…!? For a princess of the kingdom riding a carriage alone with a boy around her age… Who knows what kind of rumors will spread if somebody sees it…!)

I really can’t hear what they’re talking about but it seems like they’re pretty close.

They give off the vibe like they’ve known each other for a long time.

We then pay the coachman and have Kaya lead us into the village.
